Galleries (7)
The galleries are the heart of UCM. Each gallery, approximately 700 to 800 square feet, allows for permanent and rotating exhibits that highlight IU collections materials from across the state, as well as traveling exhibits.
Media Foyers (2)
The gallery foyers are the perfect place for patrons to explore, via interactive touchscreen kiosks, audiovisual content digitized by IU. Foyers also include emerging technologies such as augmented and virtual reality.
Time-based media gallery
The time-based media gallery includes a projector, large screen, and theater seating to allow visitors to sit and enjoy some of IU's longer-form digitized film and video riches.
Seminar room
Perfect for small classes and discussions, the seminar room is outfitted with a computer, video projector, and LCD monitor.
Classroom
This classroom is perfect for classes of 20 people or under and includes a computer, video projector, and LCD monitor.
Offices (4)
Each of the four offices houses University Collections staff and student workers so that they are available on-site for their work at University Collections at McCalla (UCM).
Collections Lab
This hands-on learning environment brings collections to students' and community members' fingertips. The space includes reconfigurable tables for spreading out collections items, a computer, projector, LCD monitor, and lockable storage for rare and valuable collections materials.
